Kreate's debut netball team 'The Scratch Pivots' turned out in force at the Institute of Promotional Marketing netball tournament at the Camden Outdoor Centre last night.
The blustery wind played havoc with their finely tuned 'chuck it through the hoop' strategy, as they could only admire the efficiency of some of the other, let’s say, more professional experiential marketing agency outfits.
After a pasting from a well drilled and confident BD team, 'The Scratch Pivots' turned on the style with a convincing 4-2 win against experiential heavyweights RPM. The team eventually bowed out to SMP in the quarter finals.
From the sanctuary of the Prince Albert public house, 'The Pivots' Skipper Katt Cullen commented "Bravo to Steve Evans (FD) who single handily managed to break the penalties against record. His harsh Anglo Saxon also appeared to endear him to the officials! Tobin displayed some promise and certainly utilised his wiry frame to good effect. Great effort from Nina, Catherine and Sav who's nippy footwork provided the spine of the team and of course special note to Gemma and myself for chucking it through the hoop 8 times!"
