Kreate Promotional Staffing Account Manager Ollie ‘Ginge’ Williams has decided to shed his wild living reputation (temporarily) and embark on a gruelling sequence of marathons and competitive races in 2010:
1) Sunday 21st March– Fleet Half Marathon (13miles)
2) Sunday 11th April– Kingston Breakfast Run (16miles)
3) Sunday 25th April– Virgin London Marathon (26.2miles)
4) Sunday 23rd May– Edinburgh Marathon (26.2miles)
At 6,5”, wiry and with a glowing ginger mane, it has been hard not to see the Lycra-clad Ollie pounding the streets of London Bridge & Wimbledon, as he has commenced a torturous training regime that will see him accumulate 380 miles before he sets off at The Fleet Half Marathon in March.
Ollie will be running the Virgin London Marathon for The PSP Association. The Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) association is a fantastic charity that supports families afflicted by the disease. PSP involves the progressive death of neurons in the brain. It affects balance, mobility, vision, speech and the ability to swallow, leaving many sufferers eventually unable to walk, feed themselves or communicate effectively with the world around them.
Feel free to dig deep and support a great cause. Best of luck Ollie!
